Gene began his real estate career in 1987 as a full time Realtor and became office manager of another real estate firm in 1990. In 1994 he opened Northern Tier Real Estate as Broker/Owner. In 1994 he also obtained his Certification License as a PA State Certified Real Estate Apppraiser. In 1997 he obtained a PA Auctioneers License. Prior to his real estate career he worked in the auction business with Shaylor Auctioneers with whom he is still affiliated. Gene provides professionalism and fairness to all of his customers and ensures confidentiality in all his real estate transactions. He attributes the success of his real estate office to his affiliation with personable and knowledgeable Realtors who keep the best interests of their clients and customers in mind. Gene served as President of the Bradford/Sullivan Association of Realtors in both 2005 & 2006 and was awarded the "Realtor of the Year" award in 2006. In January of 2008, Gene opened up the new office location on Elmira St in Troy. Although new to the real estate business, Becky White is a familiar face to the community. A lifetime resident of the Troy area, Becky now lives on the farm where she grew up outside of Columbia Cross Roads with her husband of 21 years, Ed, and their two children, Kayla & Korey. Becky has been a self-employed beautician since 1984 in Troy, Burlington, and now in her home in Columbia Cross Roads. Jo Ann comes to Northern Tier Real Estate with over 10 years of real estate experience and has worked for 5 years as a teller in one of Troys banks. Jo Ann and her husband, Jerry, live in the home they built on Windmill Hill. Jo Ann has owned Windmill Hill Herbs for many years. She is a member of the Heritage Garden Club of Troy and is a Penn State Master Gardener. Jerry and Jo Ann are the proud parents of Brian and Heather and proud grandparents of seven.
